Cajun Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

  • 2 Soft Burger Rolls
  • 1 Large Chicken Breast
  • 2 tbsp Pavs Pantry Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Tomato (sliced)
  • 1 Avocado (sliced)
  • 4 Cos Lettuce Leaves
  • 2 Rashers of Rindless Bacon (optional)

Method

  1. Cut chicken breast in half to resemble the thickness of a burger patty and coat with Pavs Pantry Cajun Seasoning.
  2. Heat a pan on medium heat and add the oil.
  3. Once it is hot, add the chicken and cook for about 4 minutes on each side (or until the juices run clear when you pierce the chicken with a small knife.)
  4. Once both sides are cooked, add the bacon rashers and cook to your liking (optional)
  5. While this is cooking you can begin to prepare the rest of the burger.
  6. Cut your rolls in half and lather them in butter, if you prefer them toasted, place them in the grill or the air fryer for a couple of minutes.
  7. Add 2 pieces of cos, 2 slices of tomato and some sliced avocado to each burger.
  8. Once the chicken and bacon are cooked add the chicken and the bacon to the burger.
  9. The burger will be juicy enough that you don't need a sauce however you could always add a Pavs Pantry sauce for additional flavour!
