Cajun Chicken Burgers
Ingredients
- 2 Soft Burger Rolls
- 1 Large Chicken Breast
- 2 tbsp Pavs Pantry Cajun Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 Tomato (sliced)
- 1 Avocado (sliced)
- 4 Cos Lettuce Leaves
- 2 Rashers of Rindless Bacon (optional)
Method
- Cut chicken breast in half to resemble the thickness of a burger patty and coat with Pavs Pantry Cajun Seasoning.
- Heat a pan on medium heat and add the oil.
- Once it is hot, add the chicken and cook for about 4 minutes on each side (or until the juices run clear when you pierce the chicken with a small knife.)
- Once both sides are cooked, add the bacon rashers and cook to your liking (optional)
- While this is cooking you can begin to prepare the rest of the burger.
- Cut your rolls in half and lather them in butter, if you prefer them toasted, place them in the grill or the air fryer for a couple of minutes.
- Add 2 pieces of cos, 2 slices of tomato and some sliced avocado to each burger.
- Once the chicken and bacon are cooked add the chicken and the bacon to the burger.
- The burger will be juicy enough that you don't need a sauce however you could always add a Pavs Pantry sauce for additional flavour!
