Home-made Chips with Chicken Salt
Ingredients

- 1kg Desiree Potatoes
- 1 tsp Bi-carb Soda
- 80g Olive Oil
- Pavs Pantry Chicken Salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 220C fan forced.
- Half fill a medium sized saucepan with water and the bi-carb and bring to a boil.
- While waiting for the water to boil, peel the potatoes and cut them into thick chips.
- Once the water has boiled, blanch the potatoes for about 3 minutes then drain them from the water.
- Line an oven tray with baking paper and place the potatoes on the tray in a single layer and drizzle with the olive oil.
- Bake for 15 minutes on one side then turn them over and bake for a further 10 min or until golden brown.
- Once out of the oven transfer potato chips into a bowl, season and toss with Pavs Pantry Chicken Salt (more can be added to taste).
- Serve while hot.
